SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Job Title: Service Technician
Position Summary:
Deml Controls is in need of an experience commercial HVAC/R Service Technician. An understand of HVAC/R systems and the ability to maintain, diagnose, and correct system problems is required. Duties include on-site maintenance, trouble shooting, repairs, and replacement of equipment at commercial and industrial businesses. The Service Technician will mostly work independently, o the ideal candidate needs to be a self motivated person who is dependable, productive, and possesses good interpersonal skills. On-call hours are required (however after hour calls are minimal). This position will also help with the installation of HVAC/R equipment at times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and / or repair commercial / industrial HVAC/R Systems (ranging from 1-300 ton units)
- Assist in the start-up and service of temperature control systems, make-up air units, chillers, and boilers
- Temperature control training will be provided
- Build strong customer relationships in order to know and understand customer’s needs and expectations.
- Communicate job information with the office and the customers in a timely and professional manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 or more years of commerical HVAC/R experience (However, we will train the right candidate with less experience)
- Understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, including boilers, chillers, and cooling towers
- Temperature controls experience is a plug (but not required)
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- MN low-voltage license is a plus
